I've always had the desire to write, as far back as high school, but never really had the courage to try it. I get my love of the written word from my
mother, who could spend hours reading, and I get my love of the unknown from my father. He and I used to sit together on Saturday afternoons and watch all
those great old classical movies with Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, etc. We still do, when I go to visit him. When I discovered Lilith's Lair, little did
I know how much Marius and Lilia would touch my life. It was January 1998 when I first stumbled into their dark domain, and I remember how strange it was that
I kept coming back to this particular one when there were so many other sites out there to choose from. And it was not long, after my first shyly written
e-mail to Marius, that I began to think about my desire to write and suddenly, one day, I am writing my first short story. The rest is, as they say, history. I
now have numerous short stories written (six are in a collection that is now copyrighted and one is in a trilogy movie called "Sentinels of
Darkness") and many, many poems. And then there are my two novels, which I am currently writing and rewriting and hoping to one day get published. It has
been Marius and Lilia's kind words of encouragement and their belief in me that has inspired me to continue. I am "Eternally" grateful to both of
them. Other interests in my life are music (I love to play the piano, although I am not that good at it) and I have a huge collection of CDs and such that
range from Classical to good old fashion Rock and Roll, crocheting (I must say, that THAT is my second best thing I can do) and of course, reading (I will read
almost anything, as long as it captures my interest!) I have books ALL over my house many of them not even read yet. I usually share them with all my friends
and vice versa. So, I can never say that I do not have anything to read. ROFLMAO
